Lisa Rinna Teases Possibility of Revisiting Billie Reed on Days of our Lives

Lisa Rinna has undergone a renaissance of some sort. The former soap star became a fashion darling. She’s also enjoying life outside of reality TV. However, Rinna is open to returning to Days of our Lives. She shared her thoughts about revisiting her iconic character, Billie Reed. 

Living For the Drama

Rinna is no longer on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She is fine with that decision. But she still lives for the drama. In a new interview with Distractify, the actress opened up about returning to DOOL in some form. (Rinna Is Open To ‘A Lot of Opportunities.’)

Rinna is still in love with her persona, Billie. The character forever changed her life and put her on the map. She became one of the most famous soap opera actors. Rinna admitted that she would be ready to revisit that role once again. 

“Listen, I never say no, really, to anything,” Rinna told Distractify. “I’m always open to revisiting these characters that I love. You know, I love drama.” 

She’s willing to return to Salem “if it felt right” and “if it made sense.” If DOOL producers called her tomorrow, Rinna would jump at the opportunity. She’s “always open” to revisiting Billie’s story once again. 

Rinna played the role for three seasons before she left the daytime soap to play Taylor McBride on the primetime series Melrose Place. She briefly returned to the role on the Peacock special Beyond Salem. 

Tackling a New Role

Rinna returned to the small screen in a different form. She’s featured in Walmart’s “Deals of Desire” 2024 holiday ad campaign, where she takes on a new soapy role. She loves playing an evil twin, which has always been her dream role. 

Rinna plays a woman named Faith, who learns that she has a long-lost twin named Lilith Cooper. She has a bad feeling about her sister, and she’s right. Lilith is found to be plotting to steal money from Faith alongside her boyfriend. 

“I think if you’ve ever done a soap opera or watched a soap opera, it’s kind of the goal. You’d love to be able to play a twin, right?” Rinna mused. “It’s a classic soap opera. And so when they asked me to play twins, I thought, ‘Oh my god, yes, I can’t wait.'”
