Martha Madison’s Belle is back on Days of Our Lives, and she’s already divorced Shawn and is now hooking up with EJ. While her on-screen life can be something of a roller coaster, there was nothing more terrifying than her real-world face-off against the LA Wildfire. She recently opened up about her experience and how the horrific devastation has infuriated her.
She Jumped Into Action
Madison is always extremely busy. The actress, who also runs The Madison Collective, “a boutique recruitment agency serving the hospitality industry” (according to its LinkedIn page), told Woman’s World that because of her ADHD, she immerses herself in work to give her something to focus on. “Working is my main tool. I’m also a big fan of running and working out. Getting that energy out every day and staying on a disciplined schedule is how I manage,” she stated.
Homes weren’t just affected by the LA wildfire; businesses were as well. A former restaurant owner, Madison, explained that her company jumped into action during the crisis. “Because so many restaurants and hotels were affected, we put the SOS out on LinkedIn,” she stated, continuing, “letting them know that anyone displaced by the fires and looking for a job and needing work should reach out to us.”

Shock Turned to Rage
Madison, whose Belle comes across as strong yet very nice, let loose her real feelings about the LA Wildfires. She and her family emerged from the crisis unscathed, but she remarked, “I’m part of the collective shock.” Calling it “tragic,” she felt that everyone in Los Angeles was also in a state of shock and that the whole situation was difficult to digest.
The outlet noted that the fire did start to creep toward her house, as she stated, “The one up here near me in Castaic was very scary.” She said everyone became apprehensive as to what would happen next. She expressed her deep feelings thinking about the branch of the fire that threatened her home, exclaiming, “I’ve just gotten so sick of the whole thing and just filled with rage. Bad things happening to such great people just seems so unfair. I want to punch somebody, so bad!” (Find out how Madison’s life is similar on and off screen.)
