Eric has an unnerving phone call with the landlord because Sloan hasn’t paid the rent in two months. He assumes she forgot to pay it. Sloan meets with Jada about her unfinished divorce from “Bobby Stein.” Sloan tells her the law is on his side since he wasn’t in his right mind when they got divorced. Stephanie tells Leo that the article about Stefan’s arrest is doing well. Leo didn’t peg him for a drug dealer, and wondered what Chad thought about it, but hoped readers would gravitate to Lady Whistleblower after reading it. Everett arrives and Steph asks where he’s been. Xander and Sarah walk the baby and he feels hopeful for the future. E.J. arrives on the scene and reluctantly tells them all the charges against Xander are dropped. Everett doesn’t want to engage Steph when she asks what’s wrong. Jada bursts in asking if he’s as stubborn as he is psychotic, demanding he sign the divorce papers. Nicole confronts Kristen for telling Holly that she’s a “bad influence on Rachel.” Kristen doesn’t care and refers to Holly as a drug addict. Nicole says it was a mistake, but Kristen counters that she covered it up and lied about it and Tate suffered the consequences. Kristen feels she has a right to keep Rachel from lying Holly. Sloan returns home and recalls Leo bilking her of her money. He told her the blackmail ends when she returns the baby. Eric wants to discuss their finances and shows her the note the landlord left. Jada pleads with Everett to sign the order, piquing Leo’s curiosity. Everett explains to Stephanie what happened and Leo learns he was named Bobby, calling them “#Jobby?” After trading insults and calling out each others’ litany of misdeeds, Nicole and Kristen get into a physical fight, but E.J. breaks them up. Eric explains their financial situation to Sloan who immediately pays the rent. When he wants to talk further, she uses Jude’s crying as a reason to exit. Avoiding him again later, she claims she needs to go buy diapers. Xander and Sarah celebrate his freedom, but he doesn’t think the nightmare is over just yet. Everett refuses to sign the divorce papers with Bobby Stein, telling Jada it’s not personal. Leo points out that forgery is illegal. Jada claims he’s legally Bobby. She storms out and Steph follows. Xander wants to figure out who framed him, and wonders why he was targeted. Sarah agrees to help him figure it out. EJ admonishes both women for setting a poor example by fighting. Kristen feels she was giving back what Nicole gave during their heated argument, but EJ points out that Nicole said those things directly to her, not her daughter. He threatens to throw Kristen out if she doesn’t figure out how to get along with Nicole. A befuddled Eric wonders where their money is going.
As Everett can’t get over how bad things have gotten for him, Leo lends an ear and reassures him that he’s a good guy with an identity crisis. Everett puts the kybosh on Leo wanting to write about the “Bobby Stein” story. Stephanie and Jada go to the pub to commiserate. Jada reiterates the horror of the story and apologizes for yelling at Steph who understands where she’s coming from, and forgives her. Everett feels he can’t escape Robert Stein. He calls and leaves a voicemail for Marlena asking to see her. Feeling bad that his blackmail is affecting Jude, Leo agrees to cut down the money Sloan pays him by 25% and she tearfully hugs him.
