Johnny Finds Out His Brutal Origin Story on the March 14 Days of Our Lives

Johnny DiMera learned the ugly truth about how in the world he and his twin Allie have different fathers. It all started with Roman’s angry admission and continued with Kate filling in the blanks in the Friday, March 14 episode of Days of Our Lives.

The Ugly Truth

An angry Roman (Josh Taylor) let it slip that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) was as bad as Arnold Feniger (Galen Gering), meaning EJ was also a rapist. When he realized what he revealed, he attempted to walk it back. He even left the room before he could say anything more.

But Johnny (Carson Boatman) wouldn’t be deterred. An unlucky Kate (Lauren Koslow) entered The Brady Pub at that moment and quickly learned the minefield she had walked into with Johnny. They all learned a lesson — that once Roman’s loaded words were outed, there was no putting the toothpaste back into the tube.

Kate gave Johnny the whole truth and nothing but the truth about how EJ raped Sami (Alison Sweeney) before Johnny was born. She told him how EJ would only save a trapped Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) if Sami had sex with him first. Johnny internally put two and two together and concluded that this was his origin story.

He heartbreakingly asked Kate if this was how he and Allie (ex-Lindsay Arnold) ended up with different fathers. Kate had no choice but to confirm the truth.

The Consequences

This is a story that DAYS fans have endlessly brought up over the years. And now Johnny and EJ will have to deal with the ramifications. Immediately, the son went home to the DiMera mansion and decked his dad in front of Chanel (Raven Bowens).

This will undoubtedly cause a severing of the relationship between father and son. Johnny was close to calling it quits with his dad anyway. After all, he told his dad that if he were behind this latest bout of Arnold Feniger messing with Salem, that would be it for them. So add this to finding out his father raped his mother?

It’s rough waters ahead for Johnny and EJ. As a result, Johnny and Chanel should definitely be in the running for EJ’s biggest threats. Chanel is protective as hell, plus she also knows that EJ needs to be out of the picture if it means being able to adopt Tate’s (Leo Howard) and Sophia’s (Rachel Boyd) baby.
