The Thursday, April 11 episode of Days of Our Lives recap photos reveal Steve and John wrestling with the past, Everett making a questionable decision, and Ava confiding in Harris.
Recap Photo Gallery Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) forgave Steve (Stephen Nichols), but she still reserved the right to be angry with him for a day, and later she and Stephanie (Abigail Klein) stumbled across Holly and Tate’s secret meeting in the park. Steve told John (Drake Hogestyn) that he brought Kayla up to speed on their prison break shenanigans , and the two hatched a plan to help clear their consciences. Meanwhile, Konstantin (John Kapelos) informed Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) that he had to leave town, while Everett (Blake Berris) had a session with Marlena (Diedre Hall) and turned down more hypnosis. Plus, Ava (Tamara Braun) and Harris (Steve Burton) danced between the sheets and she finally came clean with him. Check it out on the slideshow below.
Steve continues to apologize to Kayla who still wants to remain angry with him, but forgives his “reckless and boneheaded risk” when he and Steve freed Clyde Weston. Tate meets Marlena and John at the Brady Pub for lunch, then leaves claiming he’s meeting a friend to study with, but secretly is meeting with Holly in the park. Stephanie bumps into a rattled Everett at the Horton Town Square. He throws an angry look at her when she mentions “Bobby Stein,” demanding she never call him that. She also wonders if he has any feelings for Jada, which he denies, and leaves for his appointment with Marlena. Konstantin stares at a picture of Katerina and after recalling how he learned John was the Pawn, he swears vengeance upon her killer. Maggie introduces Holly to Konstantin who had heard about her troubles and is happy she’s better. She reminds him of Katerina. Maggie tells her Konstantin was friends with Victor. Holly lies and says she has to go see her mother. Kayla hopes that all the stuff that happened in Greece can remain in the past. Steve doesn’t think it can because he feels Konstantin’s feelings are disingenuous. He doesn’t believe Konstantin has truly forgiven John, and that he’s still scamming Maggie. Ava goes to Harris’ and later in bed, she tells him he means a lot to her and she’s lucky to have him. He doesn’t judge her and will always be with her. She needs a place to stay, so he invites her to live with him. Holly arrives in the park looking for Tate who sneaks up on her, scaring her. She asks if he turned his phone tracker off. Both their parents are occupied, and the teens think it’s dumb that they’re forbidden to see each other. Holly likens themselves to Romeo and Juliet. She says that being forbidden only makes her want to be with him more. Kayla’s going off to meet Stephanie. She encounters John on the way out, then punches him in the chest. A rattled John realizes Steve told her about the prison breakout. Steve admits that he also told her about Konstantin and Katerina, unable to keep the secrets anymore. Both feel like a weight has been lifted. After Stephanie tells Kayla all about Everett/Bobby, they bump into Holly and Tate in the park who ask the women not to tell their parents they saw them. Steph and Kayla agree to keep mum, and they walk away. Tate and Holly are relieved and decide to head back to their respective homes Everett meets Marlena again, who’s glad he wants to learn more about his past. He admits that he’s struggling and wishes he were someone else. Ultimately, he turns down her suggestion for more hypnosis, wanting to leave the past in the past. Steve and John realize that finding out who shot Katerina will ease their minds. They go over the facts and realize someone else could have been at the scene. They speculate it was the girl’s mother, and hatch a scheme to find her and learn what she knows about that fateful day. In bed, Ava texts Tripp that she found a place to stay. Harris thinks Clyde is long gone, but Ava disagrees, and ultimately tells him that the villain contacted her for another mission. Konstantin tells Maggie she doesn’t have to apologize to him for mentioning that Holly reminded her of her son. He likes when she’s happy. He holds her hand and tells her he has to leave because his travel visa is expiring.
