Therapy was a big topic during the Thursday, January 16 episode of Days of Our Lives. Rachel “agreed” to talk to someone after her recent behavior. And Marlena provided the much-needed voice of reason for Leo. Ultimately, her guidance paid off big time for the Body & Soul head writer.
Rachel
Did Rachel (Finley Rose Slater) use a letter opener to break into the drawer to get the phone? Thankfully, Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) stopped her before she could hit send on another threatening text to Ava (Tamara Braun).
Kristen and Brady (Eric Martsolf) finally understand that Rachel needs therapy. Hopefully, they realize the damage they’ve done to their daughter over the years, especially Kristen.

Kristen and Rachel have a conversation about therapy, and eventually, Rachel plays along and decides to go see someone where she can talk out her feelings.
However, Rachel played her mom the entire time. She chose to avoid therapy by packing up her backpack and running away. This move shouldn’t get Kristen and Brady to forget about seeking a psychologist for her. Instead, it should get them to double down on the need to get their daughter some help.
That is, after they find her.

Leo
First, we’re giving a hard no to Leo (Greg Rikaart) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) getting lunch. While entertaining, as long as he’s her client, there shouldn’t be any fraternizing outside her office. So lunches and any conversations outside the hospital shouldn’t happen.
Having said that, Marlena was able to provide Leo with the necessary tools to deal with this Lady Whistleblower situation. Because he saw Javi (Al Calderon) wearing an I Heart Rochester hoodie, he again concluded that Javi must be the anonymous blogger.
But if he really sat down and thought about it, he would know that the only thing he’s basing his opinion on is that incriminating sweatshirt. He knows that Javi isn’t from Rochester. And according to Dr. Evans, all Leo has is circumstantial evidence. Nothing more.

She helped him slow down, work it out, and see that he doesn’t have any proof. So, instead of barrelling in and accusing Javi of being Lady W a second time, he would ask the necessary questions first. He made the right decision for once and went against the impulsive instincts that always get him in trouble.
This way, he saves his friendship with Javi. He now knows that Kerry (Derek Yates) is from Rochester. And now he has the proof he needs to blow the identity of Lady Whistleblower out of the water.
Good for Leo. One piece of the puzzle solved.
