Days of our Lives’ Gabi seems to be enjoying her time with her dead husband’s twin brother these days, but in real life, her portrayer Camila Banus, recently revealed that her love life is in even a bigger love orbit.
You see, Banus got married to longtime love Marlon Aquino last weekend and PEOPLE caught the whole thing on film, with an exclusive peek into her wedding day. The actress shared a trio of her favorite photos from the shoot on her Instagram page and went into detail about the fun photo session.
“Took my best friend out to the desert with both of our families and friends and got married,” she beamed, adding a host of emojis signifying the special day, including a cactus, diamond ring, and camel. “I love you my husband @aquinomarlon.”
It’s easy to see how happy Camila Banus was in the images, and everything about the wedding day seemed perfect. “It was the most magical night I have ever had,” she wrote. “It took my breath away, it brought me to tears (tears of joy). I am so grateful for everyone that has helped me plan and execute this huge feat!”
In an effort to thank some of those people she mentioned, Banus tagged a number of them including her planner (@sweetmaries_eventplanning) calling her “an actual angel”; her makeup artist (@yoralphy); the Castle House Estate where the wedding was held and Croux and Company for doing the catering.
Of course, she also gave a special shout-out to PEOPLE for the exclusive release and capturing the beautiful day in photos. A bevy of daytime stars reached out to send wishes, including Tamara Braun, who wrote, “Congratulations beauties!! So happy for you both and can’t wait to hear all about it!”
