Camila Banus obviously has a blast playing Gabi Hernandez DiMera on Days of our Lives, and the actress is just as proud of her role celebrating Hispanic Heritage month, which in the U.S. is celebrated from September 15 to October 15.
As the month of celebration nears its end, the official Days of our Lives YouTube decided to feature Banus and her mother, Carmen, in a video where they reflect on culture, identity, and the importance of representing Hispanics.
The adorable star begins the video by explaining that they are Cuban — well, her mother Carmen was born in Cuba while she was born in Miami. To help with things, she pointed to the spread they had in front of them, which included yummy Spanish food as they shared what the month means to them.
