On Days of our Lives, Joey Johnson hasn’t been around Salem for a while. Offscreen, actor Tanner Stine is busy preparing for an upcoming milestone.
Happy Birthday, Tanner Stine!
And that’s because he was born on February 21, 1995, in Denver, Colorado, which means that this talented young performer is turning 29 years old today! Reared in Des Moines, Iowa, Stine decamped to Los Angeles soon after high school graduation with the dream of becoming a professional actor.
His first credit was Connor McTigue on The Haunted Hathaways. Subsequently, Stine guest starred on several primetime dramas, including Wicked City (Mitch), Teen Wolf (Jake), and NCIS. In the latter program, he portrayed a younger version of Michael Weatherly’s Tony DiNozzo.
Stine’s resume also includes stints on series such as Here and Now (Robb Spencer), The Thundermans (Oyster), Adopted (Mikey), A Million Little Things (KC), and Impulse (Clay Boone), as well as roles in feature films like Run the Race (Zach Truett) — which co-starred General Hospital actor Evan Hofer (Dex Heller) whom Stine lived with for the duration of filming — and Extracurricular Activities (Kenny Dawkins).
In July 2022, Stine made his debut as Joey Johnson on Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem 2 — a role for which he read some seven years previous — before joining the cast of DAYS proper later that year. He has been recurring ever since.
In his spare time, Pink Floyd and sports enthusiast Stine loves to jam out on his guitar, shred the slopes, and take in a football game.
Soap Hub would like to wish Tanner Stine a very happy birthday. Also, share your favorite memory of his work or if you’ve met him personally in the comments section.
