Happy birthday, Nadia Bjorlin.
Life hasn’t always been kind to Days of our Lives Chloe Lane, but she has Xander in her life now, and their love is worth dealing with it all. Speaking of celebrations, performer Nadia Bjorlin certainly has a major milestone worthy of one.
And that’s because she was born on August 2, 1980, in Newport, Rhode Island, which means that this talented actress is turning 43 years old today! Bjorlin was already an accomplished and award-winning singer by the time she decided to pursue a career in acting.
Her first major role was DAYS’ Chloe Lane. She debuted on the soap in April of 1999, and she remained a contract player until June of 2003 — at which point she exited in order to concentrate on her singing.
She reprised the role from December 2003 to September 2005, November 29, 2007, to September 2011, January 4, 2013, to April 16, 2013, September 2013, August 2015, and January 2016, June 2016 to 2019, and returned in August 2020.
Bjorlin’s other acting credits include guest appearances in Complete Savages, Jake in Progress, Out of Practice, NCIS, Two and a Half Men, CSI, Anger Management, Satisfaction, and 2 Broke Girls.
She had recurring roles in Sex, Love and Secrets, and Venice: The Series. Bjorlin made her film debut in 2002’s The Marriage Undone, and she subsequently appeared in If I Had Known I Was A Genius, Redline, Jack Rio, and Divorce Invitation.
From September 25, 2011, to November 13, 2011, Bjorlin starred in the reality series Dirty Soap, which featured a bevy of daytime stars, including DAYS alums Farah Fath (ex-Mimi Lockhart), Kirsten Storms (ex-Belle Black; now Maxie Jones, General Hospital), and John-Paul Lavoisier (Philip Kiriakis; ex-Rex, One Life to Live) as well as GH’s Kelly Monaco (Sam McCall).
Bjorlin has been married to Grant Turnbull since May 15, 2015. The couple has two sons: Torin Mathias (born May 4, 2016) and Viggo Sebastian (born September 1, 2017). Bjorlin is an accomplished flute, harp, guitar, and piano player.
