Days of our Lives’ New EJ May Be Spartacus Star Dan Feuerriegel

EJ DiMera is one of Stefano’s few surviving children on Days of our Lives. Now that Sami is back on the scene, it’s likely that the love of her life will return, too. And it’s just possible the role has already been cast!

Dan Feuerriegel Rumored To Be New EJ

While James Scott originated the part, he vacated it back in 2014. Now, actor Dan Feuerriegel, best known for his role as Agron in the TV series Spartacus, is rumored to be taking over the part, according to Daytime Confidential.

Born in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, Feuerriegel graduated from Villanova College and also studied acting at the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane.

EJ appeared to have perished back in 2014 after being shot dead by Miguel (Celestino Cornielle). Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), however, made sure that her brother got an injection of Dr. Rolf’s (Will Utay) magic drug that resurrected him. The character was caught in a fire and briefly recast with Trey Baxter in 2018 but the bandages were never removed to show his face. He and Sami (Alison Sweeney) have two children — Sydney and Johnny.

No word yet from DAYS on whether or not the casting report is true. But we know from Feuerriegel’s social media account that the actor made it a New Year’s resolution to get back into fighting shape!

The actor has posted some workout photos, too. “Just killed a beach workout with a side of paddleboarding, vacation won’t stop this #danimal. Don’t let anything stop you either! Rip and Tear!” Feuerriegel shared on Instagram.
