Thousands have had to evacuate their homes in Australia after catastrophic flooding wreaked havoc — the worst the continent has seen in decades. While Isabel Durant was on Days of our Lives, she lived in the United States, but she was born and grew up in Australia — and now she’s doing what she can to help those affected.
Isabel Durant Asks For Your Help
Durant took to her Instagram account to update her followers about what’s going on. “Parts of my home country are battling devastating floods,” she wrote in the first image. “Lives have been lost both human and animal. Communities will be suffering from the devastating impacts for years to come.” She went on to talk about different organizations that you can focus on.

Isabel Durant’s fourth action point was how you can help the bigger issue facing not just Australia but the entire world. “Do your part in addressing the climate crisis that is making these disasters hit our communities more frequently and with more force,” she pleaded. She included a video in her Instastories in which she spoke about how this crisis is presenting itself in more ways, more often.
“I think now more than ever we need to recognize that we’re a global family. We got to help each other out where we can, give what you can, do what we can, and also let’s take a second to recognize these disasters are happening more frequently and having more of a devasting effect because of the climate crisis we’re in right now so take this opportunity to look at your own daily life and see how you could do better by our beautiful, beautiful planet.
