Fans always enjoy bands comprised of soap opera stars. A few cast members from Days of Our Lives, Wally Kurth, Eric Martsolf, Brandon Barash, and Carson Boatman, have been performing a musical act as a band called The Day Players. Recently, they provided a sneak peek behind the curtain, showing what shenanigans they get up to backstage.

It Was a Stretch

As The Day Players readied themselves for a show, their backstage preparations were recorded and shared on Instagram. The caption gave “An inside look to the backstage routine prior to @thedayplayersband show! Check out how @wallykurth @brandonjbarash warns up for a show with @ericmartsolf @carsonboatman @gunterdickifliszar looking on! 😉😉😉.”

The description continued by letting fans know that some of their shows helped a worthy cause: “Don’t miss upcoming shows in #raleigh @goodnightscomedy and #virginiabeach @funnybonevb – which will have a very special auction post show to have a private cocktail with the band with all proceeds to benefit the recent hurricane victims #hurricanehelene #hurricanemilton 💯💯💯

The Four Musketeers

In the video, while one band member played guitar in the background, Kurth (Justin) and Barash (Stefan) were facing each other in a squatted position with their hands together. The person filming asked what they were doing, and Barash answered abruptly, “Yoga SQUATS! That’s how we get READY!” He explained that their energy came from below and stood up, remarking, “See, I’m already standing straighter.” He entered another Yoga position when Boatman (Johnny) entered the scene, jokingly stating, “He fakes like he’s into fitness. He’s not.”

In the background, Martsolf (Brady) emerged with a glass, most likely containing an adult beverage, and stated, “I’m stretching my…arm.” He then lifted the glass to take a sip. Next, Boatman hilariously started to say he also needed to stretch his arm. Unfortunately, he got cut off when the recording stopped. On a serious note, Kurth replied, “One of my favorite yoga poses. Opens my back.” While many fans requested that the band come to their home cities, one responded with the praise, “Keep up this great work of making people happy. The four musketeers doing their great work as always. 👍🌟😊💪💛.”
