Things are heating up for Stephanie and Alex on Days of Our Lives as the publication of her steamy romance novel nears. Alex has had full faith in the fact that her book is going to be a huge hit, but she worries that if her real name gets out, past boyfriends might recognize some scenes in it. But Alex has been doing a great job working at Titan-DiMera, and it’s clear that Robert Scott Wilson is enjoying his work on the show. A recent video appeared on social media that highlighted a fun behind-the-scenes sequence.

The Fun Begins

“Robert Scott Wilson takes you behind the scenes in a day in his life…but there’s a twist!” was written on the DAYS official Instagram page. Along with that was a fun video, narrated by Stephanie’s portrayer, Abigail Klein. It began with Wilson waking up, getting ready, and leaving his home, with Klein giving a play-by-play: “All right, good morning, everybody. Here we are, you asked and you shall receive. This is a get-ready with Mr. Robert Scott Wilson. Okay, he’s excited for the day.”

As he drove to the studio, the gate lifted for him and she continued, “Looks like he’s driving into, ooh, gate 17 just opens up right for him! They know him around these parts.” At the Burbank Studios, the narration continued as he headed for Studio 2 and Studio 4, with Klein remarking, “This is Salem.” A woman named Layla opened the door for him, and Klein explained she was “the most beautiful face you could see every single morning.”

A Double Dose of Caffeine

Klein’s narration continued as we followed Wilson to his dressing room, which has the famous poster of Frank Sinatra’s mug shot. She described it as “very decorated” and “very lived in.” After wiping up a coffee spill, Wilson stepped out of the room and was greeted by Klein and Linsey Godfrey (Sarah) engaging in goofy dancing. In the makeup chair, Klein was shocked and commented, “Now he is getting his lashes combed. Interesting.”

He later appears in his suit and tie, ready for work, and Klein commented, “Looks like Frank Sinatra approves.” Wilson sipped an iced coffee as Klein noted, “Now he’s getting more coffee. Yup, of course. Well, because he spilled the other all over everywhere,” hilariously adding, “Rob runs on coffee if you didn’t know.”

We followed him onto the set, and Klein stated, “He’s with Mary Beth [Evans, Kayla] and Dan [Feuerriegel, EJ], and they are running lines and hopefully they are all memorized.” As we saw Wilson going back to his car at the end of the day, Klein finished with, “And that’s cut, everybody. Thanks for tuning in.” (Refresh yourself on Alex and Stephanie’s complex relationship.)
