Murder Mystery Mayhem: Are Deimos’s DAYS Numbered?

Last week, Soap Hub reported that multiple sources say the always-wonderful Vincent Irizarry is finished with his Days of Our Lives stint, and now internet rumors are running rampant that June will bring fans a fresh new murder mystery.

Who wants to bet that Deimos’s days reigning terror over Salem are just about up?

Right now, Deimos has been pretty much written into a corner, and June seems to far away. But, Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) managed to survive being the most hated man in Salem for decades and somehow serial-killing Andre (Thaao Penghlis) walks free, so what’s another few months

for Deimos, a man everyone seems to want dead?

First, we have Nicole (Arianne Zucker) who for some reason thought this was the man to make her forget Daniel, a man some fans want to forget anyway. Sure, she knew Deimos was bad from the get-go and he never seemed to prove her wrong, but Daniel’s death must have really traumatized her more than we thought because she seemingly lost her mind for this guy who only fell for her because she looks like the now-dead love of his life, Helena.

What a pair these two made. Nicole seems to have broken things off for good now, but who knows what can provoke her over the next few months?

In terms of business dealings, any number of characters can snap on Not-So-Prince-Charming at any moment, and even in June. From Eduardo (A Martinez) and Andre to Victor (John Aniston) and Sonny (Freddie Smith), who knows who might not be able to take another second of the double crossing and lunacy?

Of course, there’s always a suspect everyone thinks is dead. Remember, Deimos sent Xander off into the nether and then told the whole family his psychotic nephew bit the dust.

A tweet from Paul Telfer indicated a DAYS return sometime this year, so a thought-dead character would be who we least suspect, unless of course you read Twitter and Soap Hub.
