Oh, poor Claire, Days of our Lives fans sigh in sympathy. She was so excited to be finally dating a nice guy like Charlie (Mike Manning). Then that nice guy turned out to be her friend/cousin Allie’s (Lindsay Arnold) rapist.
That made him seem a little less nice. And cast a wee bit of doubt on Claire’s (Isabel Durant) ability to select men. That’s all right! We’ll do it for her, say almost 3,000 viewers. Here’s what we think:
A majority 72% of you think Claire should forget the past and look towards the future, which means dating somebody completely new. We know it’s hard in Salem since, as a Horton, a Brady, and a Black, she doesn’t exactly have a lot of choices, non-incest-wise, that is. It’s another reason why she was so excited about stranger-to-town Charlie. Maybe she could troll –or even attend — the local university. They usually have a couple of folks from out of town.
Why not try Tripp (Lucas Adams), 22% of the audience suggests. Last time, he dumped her to fake marry Haley (Thia Megia). Well, not only was it a fake marriage, but Haley is now for real dead. So there is really nothing else standing between them. Except the whole Tripp is Charlie’s brother thing. But is that really much of a problem? If Allie can get over it, surely Claire can, too.
A last-place 6% of the viewers expect Charlie to be redeemed just like every other Salem bad guy, which means there’s no reason why Claire and Charlie can’t reunite. If it worked for Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara (Victoria Konefal), and Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), why not Claire and Charlie? We’ll have an excuse and forgiveness for him in no time! Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
