No one ever accused Gwen Rizczech of being a good person on Days of our Lives. But she did put on a big show of wanting to make up for the bad things she’s done, to change hearts and minds, and win the love of a nice man. Well, Xander Cook isn’t nice. But he has treated Gwen better than anyone else ever has.
Face-Swapping Schemes on Days of our Lives
And she did want to be worthy of him. But then Gwen (Emily O’Brien) found out that Xander’s (Paul Telfer) ex, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) didn’t ditch him on their wedding day. She was kidnapped. And Gwen kept that information to herself.
OK, she kind of did more than merely keep the information to herself. She actively schemed to keep a woman who’d never done her any harm prisoner. All to hold onto a guy. Also, she put on many masks to make that happen. Is there any coming back from this now? What almost 5,000 fans told us:
No Coming Back
Nope, 70% don’t even have to think about it. This is beyond the pale. Before, Gwen could at least cry alligator tears about how her mommy didn’t love her and her daddy didn’t acknowledge her. But Sarah is innocent. She was snatched away and dumped on an island away from her family. The fact that Gwen is willing to keep her there for Gwen’s own purposes is an unforgivable sin.
Days of our Lives Matters Most
We’re sure most of Salem will forgive her – or just ignore her – according to 20% of you, but Xander should not. She’s supposed to love him. And she made him suffer. That’s a dealbreaker.
One Of Us
And then there are the 10% who figure all of Salem, including Xander and Sarah will ultimately react with a collective shrug. It’s not like what Gwen did is any worse than what everyone does on a regular basis there.
