Mila Kunis is a film, television, and voice actress who has been in That ‘70s Show, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Black Swan, Friends With Benefits, and the Bad Moms films. She also started on a soap.
Along with being an A-list film actress, Kunis has also voiced Meg Griffin on Family Guy for 20 years! From where she was born and raised to how she got her role on That ‘70s Show, here are five fast facts about the actress.
Who Is Mila Kunis?
She was born on August 14 in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, USSR. Her family moved to Los Angeles when Kunis was just 7 years old, and she was raised in California. She didn’t speak any English at the time, but she was immediately enrolled at Rosewood Elementary School before attending Hubert Howe Bancroft Middle School. She also started acting by the age of 9.
Soap Beginnings
After working on a few commercials, Kunis got her first television role on Days of our Lives as a young Hope Williams in newly created flashback back when she was 11 years old. She then went on to appear in shows such as Baywatch and 7th Heaven.
Lied Her Way In
Kunis was cast as Jackie Burkhart in That ‘70s Show when she was just 14 years old, despite the fact that all actors were required to be at least 18. Kunis told the casting directors that she would be 18, she just didn’t say it would be in four years! The producers eventually figured out she was too young, but they had already decided she was the best person for the role.
Making Dreams Happen
Kunis was invited to attend a U.S. Marine Corps Ball back in 2011 by Sgt. Scott Moore, who at the time was stationed in Afghanistan. Her co-star in Friends With Benefits, Justin Timberlake, saw the video and sent it to Kunis, who accepted the invitation and went with Moore.
Getting Personal With Mila Kunis
Kunis started dating actor Macaulay Culkin in 2002, but the couple split in 2011. Kunis then started dating her former That ‘70s Show co-star, Ashton Kutcher, in 2012 and they became engaged in February 2012.
They married in July 2015 and have two children together, daughter Wyatt, born in October 2014, and son Dimitri, born in November 2016. Kutcher just so happened to be Kunis’s first kiss back in the day, as their characters dated on That ’70s Show!
