The Days of our Lives time jump has claimed another victim but not in the way you may think. Rather, because the show has moved forward a year in time, there was no way the same infant who portrayed little David Ridgeway could stay in the role. Now we know who the show has cast.
Days of our Lives New Players
Caleb and Kyler Ends made their daytime debut on Tuesday’s episode, showing up on the Salem scene with onscreen caregiver Rafe (Galen Gering) just in time to break up the closeness being had by his manny, Evan (Brock Kelly), and Sonny (Freddie Smith) — who is still a married man. Could young David be a WilSon fan?
The announcement was made on Twitter by Starkidz, who represents many kids we see populating fictional towns on our favorite soap operas.
Plenty of Drama Ahead
Having David a little bit older will make him able to participate in the upcoming drama, of which there is sure to be some. After all, poor David lost his crazy mother Jordan (Chrishell Stause) to murder before she ever revealed who his biological father is. Heck, we don’t even know if she’s definitely his biological mom.
Does Rafe even have the right to be raising little David if she really is the biological mother? Would a family member… say Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) if he is ever released from death row… have more of a right to custody of the little guy?
Building A Mystery
But what if Jordan isn’t even his biological mother? Where could she have gotten her hands on a kid? Did she adopt him? Will Days of our Lives ever address the little boy’s true parentage? There could be some fun stuff to mine there — stay tuned to see if they do it. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
