Martha Madison Experiences Devastating Family Loss

It’s always tough when you lose a loved one during the holiday season and for Days of Our Lives star Martha Madison, it was especially tough.

That was because she lost her beloved dog, Henry, an extremely handsome Weimaraner. She posted a stunning tribute to Instagram, in which she made it clear just how much he meant to her and her family.

“Yesterday afternoon, we said goodbye to our beloved Henry. Henry was born on June 10, 2006 and came home with us in September of that year (2 months after AJ and I were engaged).

“Henry was more than a dog to us…He was our friend, our “first born” and, in a way, he’s a marker of the time AJ and I’ve been together.

“Henry lived a very good life. During his twelve and half years, he navigated nine homes throughout four major cities…

“This dog was so loved that in 2009, we even named our bustling Studio City restaurant after him (Henry’s Hat). This dog was VERY loved and lived a very VERY good life.

“We have too many great stories about this very special dog, and it would be impossible to tell them all here.”
