No matter how many times Chloe Lane tells Philip Kiriakis that she isn’t sneaking behind his back to see Brady Black on Days of our Lives, Philip refuses to take the woman’s word for it.
Days of our Lives Loyalty Test
So Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) devised a little loyalty test for her. Is that a smart idea (something he isn’t always known to have)? We asked, and you answered!
It’s a Matter of Trust
If you don’t trust the woman, then break up with her, a sensible 71% of the audience advises. You’ve known Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) since high school; if you don’t know who she is and whether or not her word can be counted on by now, you clearly never will – or don’t want to. This is some fantasy you’re living, where Chloe isn’t really Chloe, but a woman who was built only to serve you. And that’s not who she is. If that’s who you are, then cut her loose – for both your sakes.
A Good Reason on Days of our Lives
Then again, 20% of you point out that Brady (Eric Martsolf) is always hanging around Chloe. What was Philip supposed to think when he saw Brady carrying Chloe’s bags into the Salem Inn? That he was just being a friend? A gentleman? That he was angling for a tip? If Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) assumes Chloe is going to be Rachel’s new mommy, why shouldn’t Philip do the same?
Whatever It Takes
In last place are the 9% who believe a man’s got to do what a man’s got to do. And if Philip’s male ego requires making the woman he claims to love jump through hoops, then that’s that. If Chloe doesn’t want to be tested in such a manner, she should not have acted in a way that would arouse Philip’s suspicions. Basically, what we’re saying is, she was asking for it.
