Kate Mansi Facts: A Days of Our Lives Cast Primer

Who Is Kate Mansi?

Mansi, who is of Irish and Italian descent, was born on September 15 in Calabasas, California to parents Jeff and Victoria Morris. She grew up in the southern California area and ended up attending Pepperdine University to study film and public relations. While in college, she also competed in the National Womack Speech Competition, where she placed second!

A Different Dream
Before she decided she wanted to be an actress, Mansi wanted to be a dancer. She started dancing when she was a little girl because her mother, who was also a dancer, enrolled her in some classes. She joined the Pacific Festival Ballet when she was a teenager and performed in productions of the Nutcracker, Bambi, and Peter Pan.

First TV Role

Though she had already booked jobs in ads, Mansi’s first television role was on the show How I Met Your Mother back in 2008. She played the character of Amanda during the episode titled The Fight.

Days of Our Lives Big Winner
Mansi has been nominated for two Daytime Emmy Awards thanks to her work as Abigail Deveraux on Days of Our Lives, winning one. She won Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series back in 2017!

Selfless Birthday
Mansi makes sure to give back, which is why she decided to “give up” her birthday in 2013 in order to raise $20,000 for Charity Water. Charity Water is a non-profit organization that provides clean drinking water to people in need. Mansi revealed on Twitter that she was able to raise the full $20K.
