Days of Our Lives fans have been waiting for the arrival of Jackée Harry on the Salem scene and now we know we will finally see her on March 1, according to DAYS head writer Ron Carlivati.
Jackée Harry Is On Her Way
On a recent episode of ABC’s new game show, The Chase, Ken Jennings answered a question about the TV show 227 and then followed it up with his impression of Jackée Harry’s Emmy-winning character, Sandra Clark.
The actress responded to his attempt with a Twitter post that led to a fun exchange that DAYS’ Carlivati even got involved in.
“Too too funny! We’ll have to work on that impression,” Harry said. Soon, Carlivati got involved and sent a friendly reminder that Harry would start appearing on Days of our Lives in two weeks — and invited Jennings to watch.
“You can practice it by watching her on @nbcdays starting March 1st,” he wrote.
While there’s still not much known about Harry’s character on DAYS outside of her name being Paulina, she has a daughter named Chanel (played by Precious Way) and she has some connection to the Carver family, there has already been plenty of speculation of what’s to come.
Originally, a lot of the fan chatter was around Paulina being Abe’s (James Reynolds) sister, but now the tide seems to be changing with rumors circulating that she may have been a nanny who helped raised Eli (Lamon Archey). That could open up some fun encounters between Reynolds and Harry, as she tries to make a play for the Salem mayor.
And this would also mean Chanel would not be related to Eli, so she could throw a wrench into his relationship. Then again, there are plenty of other men in Salem whose love life could use some shaking up. One thing’s for sure, the arrival of Paulina and Chanel will bring plenty of fun and possibilities. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
