Has there been a young soap heroine of late more tormented than Gabi Hernandez of Days of Our Lives (DOOL)?
The poor girl never has any luck with it comes to boyfriends – or husbands, for that matter. Her first love, Will, turned out to be gay. And, while her relationship with Nick (Blake Berris) led to marriage, his obsessiveness ruined things between them and she ended up killing him.
Attempts to move forward with Chad (Billy Flynn) and Eli (Lamon Archey) have both failed, leaving her all by her lonesome self. Would you like to see Gabi experience some happiness? Here’s what over 2,500 fans had to say.
Yes, She Deserves It
The vast majority are all for Gabi (Camila Banus) finally getting a break and finding some happiness. Some 80% of you want the character to leave her troubles behind her, once and for all.
She’s a good person at heart, and she’s been a loving and devoted mother to Arianna.
But she needs and deserves more. You’d like to see Gabi find a new man, who only has eyes for her.
Suffer in Silence
Meanwhile, the remaining 20% of you enjoy Gabi the most when she’s experiencing the worst — and apparently, you really enjoy watching her suffer. You’ve never gotten over the fact that she killed Nick.
And her decision to move forward with Chad — her best friend Abigail’s (Marci Miller) husband — further infuriated you. There’s no coming back from either of those in your book. Hence, you don’t think she deserves a minute of peace, let alone a happily ever after.
