Days of our Lives fans already know how bad Ava can be. She blackmails people, she kidnaps people, she kills people, she rapes people. Ava (Tamra Braun) is bad. But now we’ve been introduced to her son, Charlie (Mike Manning).
Charlie, we’ve learned, rapes people. And when called on it, he smashes people over the head, then drags them to another location and ties them up. (Ava does that too.) So who, of this mother and son duo, is more dangerous, according to almost 5,000 viewers:
The danger you don’t know is always scarier than the one you do, which is probably why a winning 69% of the audience went with Charlie as the more psycho of the pair. Ava, at least, seems to have a plan before she does something. Charlie acts first and thinks later, which is much more dangerous.
He raped Allie (Lindsay Arnold) because… she was there? He conked out Ava because it was the first thing he thought of, and now he’s got her tied up with seemingly no plan for what to do afterward. He’s a loose cannon. And Salem is full of tempting targets. Who knows what he’ll do the first time Claire (Isabel Durant) crosses him?
A smaller 31% of you, however, are much more afraid of Ava. A hothead like Charlie constantly screws up and makes mistakes. He’s easier to catch and to outsmart. Ava is a chess player. She thinks many steps ahead. You can’t rattle her, and you can’t trip her up. When she makes a plan, she carries it out. And she doesn’t leave witnesses.
Charlie may burn hot, but Ava is a deep cool. When she wants something, she makes sure she gets it. Charlie should be afraid of dear old mom. But so should everyone else. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
