Hope’s Wedding Day (and Night!) Disasters on Days of Our Lives

It’s a wonder Hope even accepts marriage proposals, considering her track record with wedding day disasters on Days of Our Lives (DOOL).

Hope’s (Kristian Alfonso) recent nuptials to Rafe (Galen Gering) were derailed when Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) blabbed that the groom had a one-night stand with his ex, Sami (Alison Sweeney). The news sent Hope reeling, as she bashed Rafe with her bouquet and stormed off. Another wedding day gone up in smoke!

Unfortunately, Hope has had a few other matrimonial misadventures. Here’s a quick look back at them.

The Kidnapped Bride
Convinced Bo (Peter Reckell) no longer wanted her, Hope agreed to marry slick politico Larry Welch (Andrew Masset) even though her heart still belonged to her ex. Moments before she was about to walk down the aisle, Bo burst through the door in the bride’s room, grabbed Hope, and forced her take off with him on his motorcycle.

Hope was furious at Bo for ruining her wedding day or so she said. But once Bo explained that he never stopped loving her, she admitted she felt the same way about him.

Assassination Attempt
After Bo and Hope helped capture The Dragon, a madman plotting to kill Lady Joanna, British royalty rewarded them with a dream wedding in England. Little did they know that it had the potential to turn into a nightmare.

Emma Donovan had been brainwashed by the scoundrel to murder the couple on their big day. As Emma trained a gun on the bride and groom, Shane spotted and disarmed her, saving the day and Bo and Hope’s lives.

It Happened One Night
While Hope’s wedding day to Aiden went off without a hitch, the wedding night was a totally different story. Under orders from Stefano to kill Hope, Aiden slipped off after making love to his new wife.

Then, he returned with a necktie in hand and started strangling Hope. Bo arrived in time to save the day and Hope, but Aiden was fatally shot in the process. Months later, it was revealed that it was actually an Aiden lookalike sent by Andre that tried to off Hope, while the real Aiden was hauled away and held captive.
