While many soaps haven’t been airing because of the impeachment trial of the president, Days of our Lives has been available to fans every single day — but that doesn’t mean they’ve seen everything that was written each day. Due to time, scenes are often cut in the editing process. Now head writer Ron Carlivati lets fans know of a special scene that didn’t make it on air.

Ron Carlivati Reveals Deleted Scene

The beloved head writer has always had a very big presence on social media and seems to enjoy interacting with fans about happenings in Salem. He recently took to Twitter to let fans know about a scene he heard that was cut, much to his disappointment. So he found a way to let fans know what was supposed to have transpired.

“Sorry to hear this scene of Jack saying goodbye to Adrienne was cut from Friday’s show… #days,” he wrote and included a screengrab (see below) of the missing scene from the breakdown for that episode that had Jack (Matthew Ashford) talking to Adrienne’s (Judi Evans) body about how huge a loss she was to the entire family.

The Family Mourns

The reveal certainly helps fans who watched the episode and perhaps felt there was something missing with Jack’s moment with Adrienne seeming a little odd. Now we know that’s because something was missing! Sadly Jack and Adrienne didn’t get to spend much time together since his return.

Jack’s wife, Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) was close to Adrienne since they were running the paper together, which Jack was doing during the year his wife remained in a coma. It’d be nice if we could have some flashbacks of them working together — perhaps that will still happen. Stay tuned. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC.
