Gwen Rizczech was truly devastated when she miscarried her baby on Days of our Lives. But, when the opportunity came to dump the blame for the tragedy on Abigail Deveraux DiMera, Gwen leapt on the opportunity.
Abigail (Marci Miller) apologized and, when she returned to Salem, wanted a truce with her newfound sister. But now that she knows that Gwen (Emily O’Brien) lied, should she expose her? The votes are in!
It wasn’t even close as 76% of you want Abigail to let Gwen have it! Abigail went through hell for months, thinking she’d killed her half-sister’s unborn child, and it wreaked havoc on her marriage to Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), as well. Revenge is a dish best served cold. So Abigail better get frosty! And Gwen better bundle up!
Abigail and Gwen should definitely clear the air, 13% of the audience advises, but then Abigail should forgive and move on. Gwen was crushed – and desperate. She wasn’t thinking straight and so she did something horrible. Abigail is familiar with the phenomenon, no? Considering the whole town forgave Abigail for murder, maybe she can follow their example and cut her sister some slack? No need to forget, but some forgiveness would not be amiss.
Only 11% agree that Gwen has done such an about-face lately that any crimes she committed prior to donning a mantle of sainthood should automatically be forgiven. She was an angry, bitter young woman when she first arrived in Salem.
But now that she has Jack Deveraux’s (Matthew Ashford) love, not to mention Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) shirtless at her beck and call, she is ready to assume her place as a respectable member of Salem society. The record should be wiped clean – criminal…and Abigail’s.
