We’ve known for a while that Christopher Sean had been cast in the top-secret project and now we finally get to see (or rather hear) him strut his stuff in this exciting new role!
The actor has already finished shooting his popular Days of Our Lives (DOOL) role as Paul, though we don’t know how he will be written off the show.
We’ve also been in the dark about his new show — but now some of those pieces have been revealed, thanks to the new trailer.
We already knew that it will focus on the era before Star Wars: The Force Awakens, when we got to see what became of Leia, Han, and Luke decades after The Return of the Jedi ended. In this new show, Sean has the starring role as Kazuda “Kaz” Xiono.
Kaz is a young pilot, who is on his high-flying mission to fight the First Order in this new anime-inspired animated series. We finally know what day it premieres so set your DVRs now for Sunday, Oct. 7, at 10 pm.
The one-hour pilot will air on Disney Channel, but also on DisneyNOW, and Disney Channel VOD, with subsequent airings on Disney XD. Oscar Isaac and Gwendoline Christie (Brienne from Game of Thrones) are also a part of the voice cast, reprising their roles as Poe and Captain Phasma, respectively, according to the official release.
Sean talks about what it’s like to work with these actors and more in the interview above. Below, you can see the first-look trailer from the show. Will you be watching it? Let us know what you thought of it in the comments section below.
