Days of our Lives fans are still reeling over the news that Galen Gering has wrapped up his run as Rafe. And while the character will remain onscreen until the fall, the actor has an update he wants to share.
Galen Gering Reaches Out
Thanks to social media, no one ever is really gone as the actor shared his thoughts on Instagram about what is currently happening and what he has planned for the future — alongside a photo of himself looking fresh and ready for anything as he’s surrounded by all sorts of opened packages that were filled with gifts.
“Some things were sent to the studio…As always, your love, kindness, thoughtfulness, humor, and generosity are overwhelming. I am honored and humbled by this abundance of sustenance. Exciting things to come…” he wrote.
Obviously his fans don’t doubt for one second that something exciting is in the wings for this very talented actor who joined the show back in 2008. That was after his first daytime role as Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald on the now-defunct Passions from 1999-2008. He wasn’t without a gig for long and no one expects him to be this time.
Meanwhile, Rafe will continue in Salem for the next eight or so months and right now he needs to find his adopted son David since he was kidnapped by his biological father — who just so happened to have murdered his mother, Jordan (Chrishell Stause).
Rafe is supposed to be a hero cop and now he needs to fill that role more than ever and at the same time help save Ben (Robert Scott Wilson), who has been wrongly convicted and set to die for that murder. Will it all work out? Stay tuned. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
