Does Gabigail Return In The Form Of Kate Mansi?

Kate Mansi has been back on set at Days of Our Lives (DOOL) as Abigail, and a recent Instagram post has us all wondering if a certain alter will be making a comeback!

Now, it could be that Mansi was just teasing fans when she posted a new snap with long, dark hair that looks like a wig, but that didn’t stop fans from asking in the comments section if this new hair style is a signal that Abigail’s alter, Gabigail — who fashions herself after Gabi — might be appearing again. (She even has the Gabigail makeup.)

The Daytime Emmy winner posted the shot, which you can see below, with the following caption, “Oops she did it again.”

Of course, this could mean many things, even if she is getting the chance to play Gabigail again, it might not mean that Abby has a personality fracture again.

It could be that Stefan (Tyler Christopher) is so bereft after possibly finding out that Abby’s baby isn’t really his that he conjures up his former lover in an effort to comfort himself about really and truly having lost her for good.

Then again, Abby might be the one who needs her alter’s strength and conjures her up in a fantasy-type sequence in which she confronts her in her mind.

Or — she could possibly be back as Abby has too much to handle because of some new trauma in her life. Does something happen to the baby? Could Stefan kidnap the infant? So many possibilities but it looks like we’ll just have to stay tuned to find out what ends up happening!
