FlashyAbby: How Fans Feel Seeing Kate Mansi Back On Days of Our Lives

In one Abby, out the other as Days of Our Lives has recast Abigail with her original portrayer, Kate Mansi.

Now both Abby and Gabby are being played by a new actress – or is Abby playing Stefan (Tyler Christopher)?

In any case, everything old is new again, but are DAYS fans celebrating or mourning? Almost 9,000 chimed in.

Yay, 81% cheer, Kate is back and all is right with the world! Marci Miller was a fine fill-in, but Kate is the actress who made you fall in love with Abigail and Chad (Billy Flynn) in the first place.

She’s the one who was terrorized by Ben (Robert Scott Wilson), and the one who gave birth to Thomas. She is, in effect, the real Abigail to you.

Now, when Abby and Chad reunite – and they will reunite, you have no doubts about that – it will mean so much more to see the original couple back where they belong.

And it will make it that much easier for you to forget that entire Stefan incident. Just figure out Charlotte’s paternity, and we’re all good.

And, oh, yeah, let’s get Abigail out of the looney bin while we’re at it.

I’ve Grown Accustomed To Her Face
On the other hand, 19% of the audience really took to Miller. She played a more mature Abigail. You believed her as a mom. Mansi was too much of a teenybopper.

It was hard to take her seriously. And her playing sexy siren Gabby was just embarrassing. No wonder Stefan looked so uncomfortable. He was being seduced by a child playing dress up, and even Stefan won’t sink that low.

You also wonder whether Mansi and Flynn will even be able to recapture their old chemistry since the couple’s dynamic has changed so much. What if you can’t go home again?
