Josh Taylor is best known to daytime fans for his work on Days of Our Lives as two different characters — first as Chris Kositchek and now as Roman Brady, as well as The Young and the Restless as Jed Sanders.

In The Beginning

Taylor was born on September 25 in Princeton, Illinois. He was raised in Chillicothe, Illinois where his father was the athletic director of Chillicothe Township High School. Taylor played football in high school and then went to play at Dartmouth. He received a scholarship to the University of Denver law school following college.

Change of Plans
After graduating from law school, Taylor was planning on taking a year off to work on the Alaska Pipeline. However, he stopped in Los Angeles on his way to Alaska and was offered a job as a manager at Westwood Village Bratskellar. After a year of working there, he decided to give up his law career and pursue acting full time.

Taylor was cast as Jack McKay, Dylan McKay’s (Luke Perry) father, on the show Beverly Hills, 90210. He appeared on the iconic television show on-and-off for about a decade, but a majority of his episodes were in the early ‘90s.

Celebrity BFF

It can be difficult to find meaningful friendships and relationships in Hollywood, but Taylor managed to find it with his close friend, actor Ray Liotta (ex-Joey, Another World). The pair have been best friends for a while.

Taylor has been married three times but is currently married to Lisa Tremblay. In fact, Taylor met Tremblay when she was a flight attendant for American Airlines and the pair tied the knot in 1999.
