Who Is Your All-Time Favorite Days Character?

In its 51-year history, many memorable characters have appeared on Days of Our Lives.

Each and every one of them has made a mark in Salem – some big and others small.

A number of them are no longer on the canvas, like the late Bo (Peter Reckell) and EJ (James Scott), two popular leading men in their day.

Then, of course, there’s premiere villain and DiMera patriarch, Stefano (Joseph Mascolo). Which character was your all-time Salem favorite? Soap Hub asked fans to weigh in and pick one. Here are your responses.

Bo
More than half of you, 54% to be exact, cast your vote for Bo. You adored the bearded anti-hero from the moment he rode into town on his motorcycle.

His romance with Hope (Kristian Alfonso) ranks as your top super coupling ever.

Watching him succumb to a brain tumor in 2015 was truly painful for you to watch, and you wake up every day hoping his demise wasn’t the real deal. There’s nothing you’d like better than to see Bo rise from the dead and reunite with Hope and his family.

Some 27% of you cast your vote for Stefano’s suave son with the sexy British accent. EJ quickly won your heart, even when he was a bona fide bad guy.

However, when he turned over a new leaf, inspired by his feelings for Sami (Alison Sweeney) and desire to make her proud, you came to love him even more. You’d welcome his return with open arms.

Stefano
The villainous Stefano was the choice of 11% of fans. From his debut in the 1980s, he quickly made his mark as daytime’s top scoundrel.

You enjoyed watching his various crimes and capers and how he weaseled out of every attempt by the Salem PD to put him behind bars for life. You also feel his feud with the Brady family was one of the greatest in soap opera history.

The Others
The remaining 8% of you cast your vote for other DAYS characters. Bad girl Sami received some love for her years of antics, as did heroines Marlena (Deidre Hall), Hope, and Nicole (Arianne Zucker). Meanwhile, a few of you chose Chad (Billy Flynn) and Rafe (Galen Gering) as your top leading men.
