As Soap Hub told you earlier in the week, Amelia Heinle (Victoria) took to Twitter with a message about Max Page.

It turns out the young man, who played Heinle’s son Reed on The Young and the Restless before the character was recently aged to a teenager, was diagnosed with Endocarditis — an infection in the heart.

In fact, he had to be flown by helicopter to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. While that would have scared most people, the young actor — according to his mom Jennifer — thought it was pretty cool.

What do you think? Post a comment!

While doing better and in good spirits, he isn’t out of the woods just yet. The protocol of IV-antibiotics will last for several weeks. Right now, the actor is pretty bored but the well wishes from fans are perking up his spirits.

In the Instagram photos shared below by his mom, she gives information on how you can send him get-well cards.

Page hasn’t had an easy time of it health-wise. He has had over 10 heart surgeries, with the first being at age 3 months. He was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot, a heart defect found in children.

Soap Hub continues to send Page and his family out thoughts and prayers.

The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Share your thoughts, leave a comment in the section below. Win exclusive member-only Y&R spoilers, prizes, and more: sign up here. Also, join the conversation on our Facebook page.

Calling on all friends for prayers for Max. He has been diagnosed with Endocarditis- which is an infection in his heart. He’s being treated at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and his team has him on the right track. It’s a long treatment with several weeks of IV antibiotics. He feels great, thought the helicopter ride was cool and has a tremendous attitude – just really bored! Please pray that the protocol works and he is back in action soon. Also pray for Els – he’s having a tough time with Max gone so long. Thanks for the friends who helped speed up diagnosis, admit and transfer. You were literally lifesavers.
