The Evil Within: Has Claire Gone Too Far On Days Of Our Lives?

Once upon a time, Claire was just another Days Of Our Lives vixen. You know, the girls who likes to make trouble simply to see what will happen.

Like Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) back in the day. Or Eve (Kassie DePaiva). Or Sami (Alison Sweeney). Or even Hope (Kristian Alfonso).

But, now that Claire (Oliva Rose Keegan) has taken it upon herself to stick her nose into Haley’s (Thia Megia) business and, oh, yeah, SHE TRIED TO SET CIARA ON FIRE, has she gone too far from vixen into straight-up villain? What almost 3,000 fans had to say:

Bad To the Bone
Setting your niece on fire is a bit beyond youthful mischief, 97% point out. Claire is now officially evil. And unforgivable. What’s worse, she doesn’t even have a good reason for her actions.

Claire claims she doesn’t know why she did what she did. Ciara (Victoria Konefal) was no threat to her. She was tied up and unconscious! Claire has no interest in Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) — that we know of, like she did with Theo.

And it’s not like she even wanted Ciara dead. Just… crispy? In a case like this, Claire is either a sociopath…or just plain old evil. And since soaps prefer their conflicts in black and white yeah…let’s go with evil.

Excuses, Excuses
Only 3% of you see Claire as just a delightful scamp…who has a tendency to make mistakes. Like when Sami tried to sell a baby Belle (Martha Madison) on the black market.

Or Eve hit little Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) with her car. (Weird how a lot of these instances involve young, defenseless children, isn’t it?) DAYS vixens have done worse than start a fire that really ended up hurting no one. Claire is just one of the gang!
