It’s been double, double trouble since a pair of doppelgängers arrived on Days of Our Lives (DOOL).
Anjelica Deveraux (Morgan Fairchild) has enlisted lookalikes, Bonnie, who’s the spitting image of Adrienne, and Hattie, who’s Marlena’s double, to wreak havoc on the people of Salem.
They each have their own agenda. Anjelica wants Justin (Wally Kurth); Bonnie wants revenge against Maggie (Suzanne Rogers); and Hattie hoped to finally land the hapless Roman (Josh Taylor).
Meanwhile, their plot has landed Marlena in a psych ward and Adrienne in jail. Got that? Soap Hub asked viewers their thoughts on the story, specifically, if you think it needs to go. Over 6,000 fans spoke out the subject.
Yes, End This Thing
The large majority of fans, 95% to be exact, are ready for this storyline to end — and the sooner the better. You’re not a fan of the convoluted tale and find the whole thing to be silly and confusing.
Plus, you hate seeing John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) separated for any reason (and adjoining cells isn’t together) and feel sorry for Lucas (Bryan Dattilo), who is devastated over losing “Adrienne.”
No, It’s Maddening, But Fun
The remaining 5% of you are really enjoying the plot. You particularly love watching Judi Evans strut her stuff as the brash and sassy Bonnie, and Hall’s Hattie fawn all over the befuddled Roman.
Their surprise kiss was a hoot, particularly John’s reaction to it. You hope this story continues for a while.
