Is There An Alamain In Store When Tyler Christopher Arrives?

Tyler Christopher has joined the Days of Our Lives (DOOL) cast, but the soap’s brass is keeping mum about who he’ll play.

The role of Nicolas Alamain would be a perfect fit for the actor. Christopher has already played a member of a shady, super rich family during his reign as Nikolas Cassadine on General Hospital.

Heck, he wouldn’t even have to get used to a new first name. And with Louise Sorel’s return as Vivian, Nicholas’ great aunt, it seems like a logical assumption.

Soap Hub asked if you think Christopher will resurface as another Nicholas. Here’s what over 4,000 of you had to say on the subject.

Yes, It’s A Perfect Fit
The bulk of fans, 74%, think Christopher will indeed be playing Nicholas Alamain. Nobody plays rich and wealthy quite like he does, and this character would be a perfect fit.

Plus, you can already imagine the actor sharing scenes with Sorel’s Auntie Viv. They’ll have just as potent a chemistry as Christopher had with Constance Towers (ex-Helena) on GH.

No, He’s Someone Else
Meanwhile, 26% of you aren’t buying Christopher as an Alamain at all. Perhaps it’s because you’d rather see him as a member of a more prominent and wealthy core family, like say the DiMeras or the Kiriakises.

It would give him more ties to Salem and a more potent presence on the soap, which means more screen time. And that’s what you’re hoping for.
