During those few stolen moments when Johnny DiMera manages to break through his Devil possession on Days of our Lives, we’ve heard him sob about how much he loves his sister and his wife, and how horrified he is by how his body — but not his soul — is treating them.
Days of our Lives Polling
Once he gets over being owned by the Prince of Darkness, should he and his bride for the day, Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) reunite? Voters gave us their opinion:
DAYS: Half Right
Exactly 51% of the audience doesn’t blame Johnny (Carson Boatman) for what his evil side has done. He married Chanel intending to stay with her till death do us part — you know, the way his parents, EJ DiMera and Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) have set an example. They deserve as much once this is all over.
Days of our Lives: Working Girl
It won’t be easy, 41% of fans predict, but they should give it a try, in any case. Kids who marry that young often face a host of problems, to begin with. Kids who married young and were broken up by Lucifer so that they went and slept with their husband’s sister…have more to work through than most. Good thing Grandma Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) offers a friends-and-family plan!
DOOL: Close Enough
Only 8% are convinced that Chanel loves Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) more than Johnny. She was into her before she even met Giovanni, and she wasted no time moving on the literal night Johnny first dumped her.
Sure, Chanel pretended to be enthused about Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) proposing to her best pal, but we know she was just fronting. Johnny doesn’t want her, and Chanel doesn’t want him. Go after Allie, Chanel! She’s single now, you know. Which is more than what she was when you first slept together!
