Demon Seed: Should Ben Worry About Having A Days of our Lives Child?

Ben Weston had a hell of a nightmare on Days of our Lives. Thanks to Ciara Brady Weston insisting that they should have a baby together, Ben dreamed that he and Ciara had a son — little Bo Brady Weston.

He was an adorable lad, with dark hair and eyes like his mother. And a penchant for using neckties to strangle people…like his father. Is Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) right to be worried about where his gene pool might lead?

Nervous Condition

He’s just got cold feet, 44% of you dismiss. Ben and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) will make wonderful parents. Knowing how fragile children are and how vulnerable to being damaged their children will be, will only make them more careful with little Bo…and any brothers and sisters he might have. Ben’s concerns are only more proof of how ready he is to be a dad.

Take a Chance on Days of our Lives

An almost equal 43% of the audience agree that Ben has a legitimate cause for worry…but he should go ahead and roll the genetic dice, anyway. After all, it’s not just serial killer Ben and sociopath Clyde Weston’s (James Read) DNA lurking in his and Ciara’s potential child. Let’s not forget that Bo’s real father is Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston). Not exactly a saint among men. That bloodline has spawned a few psychos of their own.

Alternate Course

Only 13% (unlucky number – coincidence? Yes!) think that this is too big of a risk to take. Ben is right, any child of his risks being mentally ill. It would be better for them to adopt. Of course, the entire Salem gene pool is pretty tainted. Can you think of anyone in that town who might produce a child who doesn’t run the risk of being…a devil?
