There were plenty of acting co-stars on Days of our Lives who were thrilled when Emmy winner Jackée Harry joined the cast as Paulina Price, but who amongst her peers does the woman herself admire? She recently revealed all of that and more — and it will make you love her even more.
Jackée Harry Pays Tribute
Harry recently took to her official Twitter account to share with her followers an encounter she had that meant the world to her. “I met Barbara Eden last weekend, and I’m STILL fangirling,” revealed the accomplished sit-com star.
“I cried. I even sang the I Dream of Jeannie theme to her. 😭
“All these years in Hollywood and that little girl who grew up sitting in front of the TV just couldn’t hold back. Icons like her shaped my love of acting.” We’re sure there are plenty of little girls out there who would say the same of Harry, so it means even more to see has someone who does the same for her.
But while she got the chance to gush about meeting one performer she’s admired, she ended up paying tribute to a legendary musician who was lost — songwriter Lamont Dozier. “Lamont Dozier left his mark. He’ll be missed, but his lyrics live on♥️,” she wrote, and then she shared a list so that her followers could see his amazing contribution to the world:
Baby I Need Your Loving
Baby Love
Come See About Me
Heat Wave
How Sweet It Is
I Can’t Help Myself
Reach Out I’ll Be There
Stop In The Name Of Love
Where Did Our Love Go
You Can’t Hurry Love
Soap Hub sends condolences to the family, friends, and fans of Lamont Dozier — especially one in particular, Jackée Harry.
