As Chad DiMera on Days of our Lives, actor Billy Flynn practices the art of parenthood with Marci Miller, who plays his wife Abigail. Now, it looks like those skills will translate into his real-life as the actor and his wife, Gina Comparetto, announced they are expecting their first child.
In a clever nod to a classic nursery rhyme, Comparetto made the official announcement on social media that the long-time couple was about to become first-time parents, along with a series of 1960s-themed photos.
“First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes 👶🏼…” posted Comparetto, with a nod to the photographer and hair and makeup artist who made the photo shoot possible. “Thank you to my dear, talented friend @jessieco_photo for taking these beautiful photos of us. We will cherish them forever and we love you! Thank you @makeupmaryann for the gorgeous, 60s-inspired hair & makeup that you did! You’re truly the best! ❤️”
Almost immediately, friends and co-workers responded with congratulations. Jen Lilley (ex-Theresa Donovan; DAYS) posted, “Oh my gosh!!!! yay!!!!!!!! 🙌🙌🙌🙌❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😭😭😭😭😭 congrats!!!! kids are the best thing ever!”
Current DAYS castmate Sal Stowers (Lani Price Grant) wrote, “This makes my heart so happy!!!! ♥️♥️♥️ congratulations you two!!”
Both parents-to-be seem over the moon about the news. The happy couple became engaged on Flynn’s 30th birthday, back on May 29, 2015, before making it legal on October 1, 2016. Having just celebrated their five-year anniversary earlier this month, it looks like the baby is the perfect gift to each other!
