The DAYS spoilers recap for Friday, January 28, 2022, features two missing women causing much consternation (the nerve of them!), a ghost from the past putting Paulina Price on edge, and Belle Black Brady managing to talk some (some!) sense into EJ DiMera…wonders will never cease.
DAYS Spoilers Recap Highlights
For one brief shining moment, it appeared that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) got away with it. She’d arranged for Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller) to be deposited on Frightmare Island, and she so usurped Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) place in Xander Cook’s (Paul Telfer) heart that he proposed.
And then it all started to fall apart. But it really isn’t Gwen’s fault. How could she possibly have foreseen Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) doing something as mad as calling Abigail’s folks to make sure she’s actually with them like her text messages indicated?
Looks like Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) is going to have to continue adding to her menagerie of guests, make those hostages, which so far include a very prickly Abigail and a Sarah who’s busying herself by staring plaintively out of a window. How heroine of her.
Days of our Lives Recap: Mama Bear
Back in Salem, Paulina’s (Jackée Harry) threats to go all Karate Kid on TR Coates (William Christian) in the middle of Horton Square did not go unnoticed. Funny that. Luckily, Paulina had an explanation for a curious Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers). Unluckily, Lani wasn’t buying what her auntie mama was selling…but she agreed to let it go for the time being.
DOOL Spoilers Recap: Best of the Rest
* Thank goodness for Belle (Martha Madison). Without her, EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) would have done something stupid like make a break for it and live the remainder of his days a fugitive. How silly of him to forget that he has children he might like to see again one day, and a name that he’d like to clear.
* If you’re going to say sorry, say it with a snow globe and an engagement ring. It works every time. Just ask Xander and his soon-to-be missus, Gwen.
