DAYS Spoilers Recap For Jan. 24: Abby Rips Off Sarah’s Fake Face

The DAYS spoilers recap for Monday, January 24, 2022, features Abigail Deveraux DiMera going with her gut, Chanel Dupree DiMera setting herself a new life goal, and Gabi Hernandez DiMera playing with (hell)fire.

In Salem, appearances can be deceiving. So, just because Abigail (Marci Miller) sees Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) standing before her, she knows good and darn well that doesn’t mean that she’s really seeing Sarah Horton and Gwen Rizczech standing before her. If anything, Gwen could be wearing a Sarah mask, and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) could be rocking Gwen’s visage.

But how to prove her theory? Why not stalk “Sarah” to the airport, tackle her to the ground, and scratch and claw until her “face” peels right off? That should work a treat! Thank goodness Abigail at least had the forethought to tell Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) her suspicions before enacting that incredibly stupid plan.

Days of our Lives Recap: Getting Her Due

It was one thing to be publicly dumped and humiliated. That she could probably excuse. But Chanel (Raven Bowens) will be damned if she’ll let Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) sniff around another woman while they’re still technically married.

Yes, it is a tad hypocritical of Chanel, seeing as how she jumped into bed with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) the first chance that she got, but still. There’s just so much indignity one can stand. Besides, that little do-nothing punk is loaded, and Chanel’s tired of getting up early and earning her own living. She’s been doing that for, like, a few months now.

DOOL Spoilers Recap: The Best of the Rest

* With Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) nowhere in sight – remember, she’s the one coopting Sarah’s entire look – Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) fear that they’ve been thrown together and left unsupervised as part of some fidelity test. To make themselves feel better, they make out. That will teach Ava!

* Gabi (Camila Banus) thinks that she’s got Johnny wrapped around her little finger, but Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) is getting some seriously creepy vibes from his seriously creepy nephew. Shouldn’t they just cut their losses, he wonders? Never, declares Gabi.
