DAYS Spoilers Recap For Jan. 19: Kristen DiMera Neutralizes A Threat

The DAYS spoilers recap for Wednesday, January 19, 2022, features Kristen DiMera, Ava Vitali, and Gwen Rizczech making a little mischief at the expense of some fan favorites.

DAYS Spoilers Recap Highlights

Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) had one question for Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols): Why was he so desperate to find her. And seeing as how he was staring down the barrel of a gun, Steve answered her honestly. He’s there at Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) request, in order to determine if Kristen framed him for Philip Kiriakis’s (Jay Kenneth Johnson) murder.

Perish the thought, cried Kristen. What do they think she is? Stupid? Power-mad, maybe. Crazy in love, emphasis on the crazy, most definitely. But stupid…NEVER!

And speaking of sisters (HA!) getting themselves out of their own messes…Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) ran afoul of Mother Superior, but managed to prove her mettle, and come off as a convincing nun, by reciting a Bible verse verbatim. Because no one but nuns and priests can pull off that hat trick.

Days of our Lives Recap: Face On/Face Off

What fresh hell is this?! Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) on Gwen’s doorstep! And why is she peeling off her face?! Oh, wait. It’s just Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) dressed up as a Ghost From Xander Cook’s past. Not funny Ava, not funny!

Equally unamusing, to Gwen anyway, is Ava’s suggestion that she suit up and convince Xander (Paul Telfer) that she – and by that Ava means Sarah – just isn’t that into him. And if Gwen worried that she can’t pull it off, why not practice on Sarah’s mum? Maybe Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) will be drunk and therefore incapable of noticing the daughter she raised acting all kinds of weird.

Good plan, though Gwen may regret it. Her one mistake? Not forecasting that Xander would come running to Maggie begging for an injection of cash.

DOOL Spoilers Recap: Two Faced

Is it possible that Ava is behind the accusations of misconduct leveled against Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering)? Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) doesn’t think so. What possible motive could Ava have? It’s not like she knows Nicole and Rafe slept together…or does she?
