It turns out that Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) may be a more sensitive case than we realized. Sure, she gleefully decapitated that insufferable stuffed teddy of Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker), but her guilt manifested itself as one heck of a Lynchian nightmare.

But have no fear that Ava is growing too soft. She’s still all about making Rafe pay for cheating on her. If you’re surprised that Ava has left Nicole off scot-free, stay tuned.

Days of our Lives Recap: Face-Off

Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) most pressing fear is that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will abandon her and take back up with his beloved Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) – hence her post-coitus daymare that little Miss Perfect, Miss First Choice comes a-knocking on the door.

For a time, it appears that Gwen is in the clear…it’s really only Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller) there to bother her. But the second round of rat-a-tap-tapping heralds the real McCoy’s return…or does it? That lady’s got Sarah’s face, but something seems a bit…off.

DOOL Spoilers Recap: Last Rites

Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) is an absolute mess – a fact that he confides in Nicole. He’s not sleeping, and whenever he does manage to nod off, he’s always brought around by a dream starring his murder-happy ex. Is it any wonder Brady wants that mean, mean, mean lady hunted down and brought to justice?

For a brief shining moment, it appears that Brady’s prayers have been answered. Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) managed to get the latter ensconced inside the convent that their sure is housing Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), and she set about looking for clues.

Unfortunately, Kristen’s stepped out of her habit, and off the sacred grounds, and she’s wearing red which is always a bad sign. Oh yeah, and she’s got a gun. That’s also a way to tell that Patch is in very big trouble.
