DAYS Spoilers Recap For Dec. 29: Ericole Say A Tearful Goodbye

The DAYS spoilers recap for Wednesday, December 29, 2021, features Eric Brady and Nicole Walker Brady bidding each other adieu, Lucas Horton proving what an inept criminal he truly is, and Sarah Horton’s loved ones growing increasingly concerned about her wellbeing.

DAYS Spoilers Recap Highlights

Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) can agree on a lot of things. Eric’s the bee’s knees. Nicole’s fidelity is suspect. They never should have taken the matrimonial plunge in the first place. Sami Brady DiMera’s (Alison Sweeney) a bit much at the best of times.

But the subject on which they will never see eye-to-eye is EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). Nicole might be able to forgive him his cheating and lying and being an all-around wrong’un, but Eric – whose job it is to forgive – just can’t see any goodness in the man accused of kidnapping his sister. At least the former couple was able to part on good, if not weepy terms.

Days of our Lives: Caught Red-Handed

Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) is having a heck of a time convincing Sami that her husband is the one who snatched her…so he’s decided to up the ante by planting irrefutable proof. It’s just too bad for Lucas that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) was in the right place, at the right time to catch him!

Is Lucas really the son of Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow)? Because Kate was never this sloppy. Well, there was that one time she nearly killed Lucas in a fire she started to kill Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston), but still.

DOOL Spoilers Recap: Forgive and Forget

Everyone is deserving of a second chance, but some people, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) included, need a third or even a fourth. And unlike the masses, Gwen’s got Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) and Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) on her side…not bad considering Gwen’s passively holding the former’s daughter hostage, and she flat out murdered the latter’s mother.

But Gwen’s luck seems poised to finally give out. Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) is on the hunt for Sarah (Linsey Godfrey), and he’s not giving up until he’s face-to-face with his ex…because she’s got some serious explaining to do (as far as Xander is concerned).
