The Days of our Lives spoilers recap for Monday, December 27, 2021, features the Devil trying to outwit, outlast, and outplay the likes of John Black and Lucas Horton, EJ DiMera making a list and checking it twice, and Allie Horton getting all up in her feelings.
Ah, what an excellent day for an exorcism. It’s just too bad that none of Marlena Evans Black’s (Deidre Hall) nearest and dearest are members of the clergy…or is that really the case? When John (Drake Hogestyn) prayed for a miracle, up popped Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), a one-time holy father; any chance that he got re-ordained while helping the underprivileged in the Congo?
And speaking of people in need, Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) is going to need both a confessor and muzzle if he plans on keeping Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) in the dark about her kidnapping. MarDevil’s ready to spill the beans if Lucas doesn’t set her free from her bonds!
When Nicole Walker Brady (Arianne Zucker) asked, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) swore that he wasn’t the one who hired Jason (Noel Gugliemi) to snatch Sami – but he knows a whole lot of people who’d happily throw him under the bus.
There’s Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), the sibling who probably hates him the most…though Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) aren’t big fans at the moment.
Oh, and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) REALLY hates EJ, so it could be him. But what about Lucas? Nicole thinks that he’s got the best motive of all – love – and EJ’s starting to come around to her way of thinking.
Add Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) name to the list of people who reacted badly to Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel Dupree DiMera’s (Raven Bowens) wedding announcement. At least Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers) took it all in stride.
