DAYS Spoilers Recap For Dec. 22: Lucas May Be In Really Big Trouble

The DAYS spoilers recap for Wednesday, December 22, 2021, features the walls closing in on Lucas Horton, Jan Spears preparing to seduce Shawn Brady (with some of that old black magic), and EJ DiMera having a change of heart.

To hear Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) tell it, Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) was just begging to be kidnapped. How else was he going to save her from herself? And how was he to know that her confinement was going to drag on for months on end? Maybe if Sami had wised up, she’d have been freed sooner.

Luckily for Lucas, Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) is understanding of his plight. After all, unrequited – or seemingly unrequited – love made Philip do a bad, bad thing as well. But while Philip gets a free pass (intensive therapy vs. going to prison for assault and battery, attempted murder, etc…yes please!), Lucas might not be so lucky. One of those old prison chums he hired to care for Sami has been caught – and the dude might start singing at any time.

Days of our Lives: Body Double

MarDevil (Deidre Hall) and Jan (Heather Lindell) have come up with the perfect plan to stick it to Shawn (Brandon Beemer) and Belle Brady (Martha Madison) – get Shawn to sleep with Jan…but how to keep him from arresting Jan at first sight? Why turn her into a dead ringer for Belle, of course!

DOOL Spoilers Recap: Second Thoughts

EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) and Sami rarely see eye-to-eye these days, but they can both agree that Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) marriage to Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) probably isn’t the best idea. They can also agree that their own marriage – make that marriages plural – isn’t exactly one that should be idolized.

But you know what? Why dwell on the past? Why not move forward, together, and show all their detractors – Johnny included – that they are actually a couple to be reckoned with?
