DAYS Spoilers Recap For Dec. 17: Philip Takes Kate On A Wild Ride

The DAYS spoilers recap for Friday, December 17, 2021, features a masterclass in framing an innocent for a crime, the Devil wreaking further havoc, and Xander Cook getting the rug pulled out from under him.

DAYS Spoilers Recap Highlights

Philip Kiriakis’s (Jay Kenneth Johnson) plan to frame Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) for his murder was so diabolical, so genius, that he just had to share it with someone…and that unlucky someone was Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow); think of it as her punishment for slapping Philip’s face when she found out he was alive and well pulling the most epic of all pranks.

First, Philip knocked Brady unconscious with a crowbar – that, we the audience, were privy to. Then, Philip dragged him to a secluded area in the park, left him there while he went and bought some booze at the Brady Pub, then returned and injected said booze into Brady’s veins! Sure, it was a calculated risk; Brady could have died. But it was a risk that Philip was prepared to take.

Kate was aghast at Philip’s crazy – and Kate knows from crazy, so that’s really saying something. Still, a mother never judges her children too harshly, so there’s zero doubt that not only will she keep Philip hidden from all and sundry, but she’ll also become his partner-in-crime.

Days of Lives: Return to Sender

MarDevil (Deidre Hall) just continues to rack up the enemies – but it’s Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Belle Brady (Martha Madison), and Dr. Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) that have made real impressions. Therefore, they must all pay.

And while Kayla receives a mere blow to the head, MarDevil decides to “gift” Belle and Shawn their old, formerly-comatose pal Jan Spears (Heather Lindell). The return policy on her is anyone’s guess.

DOOL Spoilers Recap: Missed Connections

Xander (Paul Telfer) and Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) crossed paths, and just as Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) feared, the topic of Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) was broached.

As per his convo with Kate and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor), Rex admitted he hasn’t seen hide nor hair of Sarah since she dumped him, a few hours after she dumped Xander. But if Sarah’s not with Rex, where is she, wonders Xander. Gulp, says Gwen.
